GD 204 GD 204 is a microprocessor controlled universal control module 19" rack mount type for integration in Fire & Gas monitoring systems, with a maximum number of 16 GD 204 modules + 1 ACK/RESET module per each rack.
GD 204 integrates the most advanced technologies and its technical features and unmatched performances are the result of a long expertise gained within harsh and critical environment as the chemical and the on & offshore petrochemical industry.
Each card is intrinsically a kind of - one channel - control unit with own 24-bit microprocessor, specific and continuous check routine, galvanic DC/DC converter insulation, display, alarms relays, 4-20 mA output and RS485 communication.
Available as rack system for panel installation or integrated in wall-mount cabinet, and with an additional battery pack and charger, it offers all the features of a conventional gas alarm panel with a high security and integrity level.
Its universality is characterised by the fact that each module can indifferently control :
- 3 or 4-wire Point Gas Detectors for flammable and toxic gas or oxygen: Catalytic combustion, semi-conductor, thermal conductivity, NDIR, PID, Electrochemical, ZrO2.
- Smoke and fire detectors
- Open path IR detectors
- Flame detectors UV, IR, UV+IR
- Safety, warning and alarm devices (beacons, horns, manual emergency call points)
- Safety automation processes as fire extinguishing and emergency
- Shut down (ESD) systems.
